MEDINA COUNTY SAFETY COUNCIL

The Medina County Safety Council, co-sponsored by BWC’s Division of Safety and Hygiene and the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce, is about education in all areas of safety as it relates to all business in the county and their employees.

FY26 Medina County Safety Council Details

Be a part of the 100+ companies that benefit from all safety council membership has to offer! Participation is simpler and easier than ever before. 

Participation made simple.

  • Join the Medina County Safety Council by July 31, 2025.

  • Attend 10 in-person safety council meetings between July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2025.

  • Members may earn up to 4 additional credits by:

    • Attending virtual or in-person training including BWC safety training courses (BWC on-line e-courses and webinars do not qualify); Or, attending in-person safety training provided by external sources (e.g. industry associations, third-party administrators, etc.) that is approved by BWC. (2 credits maximum)

    • Completing a Comprehensive Onsite Consultation visit by a BWC Field Safety Service Consultant. This consultation must include a full hazard assessment and a claims review (up to two credits maximum; limited to once every three years)

Additional safety council rebate eligibility guidelines:

  • A person can represent only one policy number with attendance at safety council meeting(s) or external training event(s).

  • Safety council monthly meetings do not qualify for meeting credit for any employer not enrolled in that safety council.

Membership in the Medina County Safety Council is open to all businesses in the Medina County area, both large and small. It is sponsored by the BWC Division of Safety & Hygiene in cooperation with the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce. 

ALL companies must register to participate in the FY26 BWC Rebate Program. Registration required for new AND past participants.

STEP 1 - Join FY26 Medina County Safety Council

3 Membership Options for FY26 Safety Council Rebate Program

#1. $0 option - Members of the Greater Medina Chamber have their Safety Council Membership Fee Waived (Included with Chamber membership; however, completion of enrollment is still required)

#2. $100 option - Non-Chamber Members' Safety Council Annual Membership Fee

#3. $295 option - Become a Greater Medina Chamber member & your Safety Council Membership Fee is Waived

STEP 2 - Attend Monthly Safety Council Meetings

Any company is welcome to attend any monthly meeting regardless of whether the company is a member of the Safety Council or the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce.

In-person meetings are held every third Tuesday of the month.

Advanced registration and payment are required by 5:00 pm the Friday before the meeting.

No walk-in registrations on event day.
Pre-payment and pre-registration are required for all monthly Safety Council meetings.

Cost is $220.00 per person.

(Any company is eligible for this discount, regardless of whether they are a Chamber member and/or Safety Council member or participating in the rebate program.)

Once purchased, we will register one (1) person from your company for each of the 12 monthly Safety Council meetings for FY26 (July 2025 - June 2026). This will allow your company to send one (1) representative to each meeting for the entire year. 

There is nothing you need to do except send a representative from your company to attend the meeting and sign-in each month. No need to register each month once you’ve purchased the special offer.
