SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

There are several events during the year that offer sponsorship opportunities to fit every budget.

As we develop new programs and events throughout the year,
other opportunities for visibility and sponsorship will be offered to our membership. 

Professional and personal development conference held annually in conjunction with the annual Medina County ATHENA Leadership Awards. A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available to market your business to this audience. Don't miss this chance to enhance your brand's visibility among influential leaders.

The Chamber’s largest fund-raiser of the year. It’s a great day of golf, food, and contests. 
Sponsorship opportunities include Hole/Tee Sponsor, Spend the Day at a Par 3 Sponsor, Comfort Stations sponsorships, and more. Your business can also provide a raffle prize for the after-golf dinner.

Sponsorship of our regular Member Meetings is a great way to market your business to Chamber members and beyond. Benefits include a display table at the meeting, opportunity to deliver a “30-second commercial” from the podium, logo/website link on event registration page on Chamber’s website, and logo/website link in all Chamber emails and social media posts promoting the meeting.

Sponsorship of monthly Safety Council meetings is a great way to market your business to Safety Council members and beyond. Benefits include a display table at the meeting, opportunity to deliver a “30-second commercial” from the podium, logo/website link on event registration page on Safety Council’s website, and logo/website link in all Chamber emails and social media posts promoting the meeting.

MEMBER MEETING TABLE SPONSOR

Limited to a maximum of three per meeting
First come first served as received and confirmed by the Chamber office.
$100 (plus fee for lunch per person attending from sponsor company)

Benefits:

  • Sponsor will be provided with an exhibit table located at the registration area or inside the door of the banquet room. We will do our best to accommodate Sponsor’s preferred location, within any limitations imposed by the hosting facility.

  • Sponsor may set up signage and distribute literature, business cards, promotional items and other information from the exhibit table.

  • Sponsor may place one item of literature or business card at each place setting.

  • Sponsor may collect business cards for a door prize drawing (prize to be provided by the Sponsor).

  • Sponsor will be thanked on signage placed at the registration table.

  • Sponsor will be recognized from the podium and introduced by the Chamber President or Chair of the Day.

  • Sponsor will be permitted to deliver a “30 second commercial” to the meeting attendees from the podium.

RIBBON CUTTING EVENTS

Celebrate Your Business with a Ribbon Cutting!
The Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce is proud to help mark your special business milestone with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony — a benefit exclusively available to our Chamber members.

Eligibility

Ribbon Cuttings are offered to Chamber members who meet one of the following criteria:

  • Grand Opening (within your first year)

  • New Business Location

  • Change in Ownership or Management

  • Renovation/Expansion

Not located in Medina County? No problem — we’d still love to celebrate you! Please contact us to discuss how we can support your business’ Ribbon Cutting outside of our typical service area.

 

What the Chamber Provides

We’ll support your celebration with:

  • Representation: A Chamber staff member or Ambassador will be part of your ceremony.

  • The Goods: We bring the large ceremonial scissors and ribbon.

  • Visibility: We’ll share a graphic about your event in the Chamber Weekly Email (sent the two Mondays prior to your event). You can provide the artwork, or the Chamber will create a generic graphic with your logo, date, time, and location.

  • Post-Event Wrap-up: Photos from your event will be shared on the Chamber’s Facebook page within one-week post-event.

 

Planning Your Event

  • Timing: Ribbon Cuttings are best held Monday–Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. (For after-hours or weekend events, you may borrow the scissors and ribbon. Please note that Chamber staff or Ambassador availability may be limited outside of business hours.)

  • Attendance: Turnout can vary, so we encourage you to invite your network — clients, friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues — and to promote your event on social media and through any groups you're involved with.

  • Remarks: Be prepared to say a few words (1–2 minutes) to welcome your guests.

  • Extras: Feel free to offer refreshments, giveaways, or special discounts — just let us know so we can help promote it! (These are completely optional and not required.)

  • Support Local: Consider using Chamber-member vendors to enhance your event — we’re happy to help connect you!

 

Ready to Schedule?

We recommend scheduling at least two weeks in advance, Monday–Friday. The latest we can perform a Ribbon Cutting is 4:00 PM, to accommodate staff and Ambassador schedules.
